Misleading referendum campaign uses 2006 posters to encourage “yes” votes

Socialist posters made for the 2006 parliamentary elections and thus based on “affirmative” votes appeared in Miskolc on Tuesday.

In Balassagyarmat, north Hungary, a car with a public address system was heard driving around the town playing the Socialists’ 2006 election music and a speech of Prime Minister Ferenc Gyurcsány encouraging all to vote yes.
