Radical right to again organize demonstration at ticket office

Blogger Tamás Polgár, widely known as Tomcat, is organizing another demonstration by radical right groups against a “Hungarian-hating” ticket office in the 13th District.

Jobbik, Magyar Gárda, the Budapest chapter of the World Federation of Hungarians, the 64 Counties Movement, former Kossuth tér demonstrators and others will participate, according to Polgár.

The office has become a target of extremist groups since a young woman claimed that when she tried to buy a ticket for the a concert by far-right rock group Hungarica, a sales clerk told her to “buy her fascist tickets somewhere else” and was thrown out of the office.

The clerks remember the scene differently, and say the woman had been served but got uptight when she was told that there is a Ft 100 handling fee.
