Fidesz still has 68% support among decided party voters, the same figure as last month, while the Socialist Party (MSZP) upped its support from 23% in April to 24% in May, a Szonda Ipsos poll has found.
The Democratic Forum (MDF) has 3% support, the same as in April, while Free Democrat (SZDSZ) support dropped from 2% in April to 1% in May. The Christian Democrats (KDNP) have 1% support, as in April, as do the non-parliamentary Justice and Life Party (MIÉP). Other parties have 1% support.
Some 75% of Fidesz supporters would turn out if elections were held this weekend, while only 61% of Socialist voters would cast their ballot. The poll was taken from May 15-22 on a sample of 1,500 adults, with a 2.5% margin of error.
A Tárki poll shows that Fidesz has 67% support among decided party voters, as against 23% for the Socialists. The Forum has 4% support and the Free Democrats 3%, which means that the latter two parties would not win seats to Parliament if elections were held at the weekend. The Tárki poll was taken from May 9-20.
Good old Szonda Commi Ipszos, they managed to find 1% even during the darkest hours for their backers!
