Gov’t website under attack

Fidesz deputy spokesman András Cser-Palkovics yesterday posed a question to Prime Minister’s Office leader Péter Kiss on how the government website kormányszóvivő.hu was built.

Cser-Palkovics said Fidesz’s main question is who opted to spend Ft 200 million on setting up a website, who was approached for a price quote, who made offers on what amounts and what the Ft 200 million sum covers. He said Fidesz will decide on whether to take legal action depending on the answer they receive.

Government spokeswoman Bernadett Budai promised to answer the questions, while the PMO press secretariat said Kiss has no competence in the matter.

Wow, the site is terrible. I know guys here in BP who could make that entire site for less than a million. So how many dumb consultants, friends of politicos, ex-party suits and MPs children do you reckon got a slice of this very lucrative cake?
