Voivodina Hungarian Alliance representative Bálint Pásztor said on Monday that his party is ready to co-operate with the governing coalition, but will not sign a reconciliation agreement with the Socialists in the Serb governing coalition, nor with other parties.
Pásztor asserted that “ethnic Hungarians in Voivodina cannot forget the many heinous acts that the Socialists committed in the 1990s,” but nevertheless his party is ready to work at all the ministries, regardless which party is in charge. He urged a swift enactment of a bill on national councils to fill the role of ethnic minority authorities.
