Fidelitas, the youth section of Fidesz, has launched a nationwide poster campaign entitled Gyurcsány a hibás (“Gyurcsány is to blame”) in a bid to pin responsibility on the Prime Minister for current ills.
No matter who replaces Gyurcsány, current problems will not vanish, Fidesz MP Péter Ágh, executive vice president of Fidelitas, told reporters. Ágh warned that Gyurcsány is endangering the future of young people, and spoke of difficulties in education, particularly higher education, and the current unemployment rate. He said Gyurcsány had twice promised to create 400,000 jobs but the number of jobless people is on the rise.
A poll by the conservative Nézőpont political institute found that more than two-thirds of voters agree with the Fidelitas slogan. The survey reveals that 67% of eligible voters believe that Gyurcsány is responsible for the current state of affairs in Hungary, as against 27% who do not. Some 45% of respondents are not satisfied with the state of Hungary. This figure is 15% among Socialist votes, and 69% among Fidesz supporters.
A left-wing youth organisation calling itself Demokratikus Hálózat (Democratic Network) is launching a counter campaign declaring “Stop Viktor,” as it says the Fidesz chairman is unfit to run the country. It encourages everyone to stick “Stop Viktor” emblems next to posters meant to discredit Gyurcsány.

So true, so why vote for Viktor? What is his medicine?
“why vote for Viktor”
If Orban is only a little better than Gyurcsany, that’s an improvement.
Do we really have a choice at this time?
Starting and building up a new party is a slow and costly process. Go with FIDESZ for now and make an effort to push them in the right direction. FIDESZ is pretty good at noticing and complaining about problems like corruption, government waste and such. Let’s see if they can fix some of them.
