Fidesz MP resigns after withering verbal attack in Parliament

Fidesz MP Sándor Arnóth resigned his seat in Parliament Monday afternoon shortly after shouting “You will hang!” to Socialist Secret Services Ministry undersecretary Imre Iváncsik at a House plenary session. Iváncsik was reacting to contributions made by Socialist, Free Democrat and Democratic Forum MPs in connection with the alleged surveillance case when Arnóth made his remark.

The Fidesz caucus initiated an ethical inquiry but Arnóth announced his resignation soon after. Speaker Katalin Szili convened an urgent House committee meeting and urged Arnóth to apologise, which he did.

Why do you twist words ???
Our Indian friend said he ‘supports’ not “controls”
–Big difference, and anyway what do you think Tony Blair meant when he said “Gyurcsány is OUR man” and why do prominent politicians always scurry off to the USA (Orbán recently)?? To receive instructions of course–something along the lines of–”Victor,we know you will be the next PM,if you want our support, this is what you will do…..”
    Wake up to reality

Sorry, Ricsi, I was just thinking slightly ahead – He who controls the purse-strings calls the tune.
