Jobbik’s October 23rd rally featured the likes of British National Party chairman Nick Griffin, who because he doesn’t speak Hungarian, needed a translator present. What we’re uncertain about is whether his translator’s difficulties are with Hungarian or English, as the video above includes a snippet where it comes across as if Griffin had said that the legacy of 1956 was showing the world what brutality is, when in fact he was referring to the brutality of bolshevism, after which the translator guy gets completely and utterly lost. At least he didn’t say anything about maintaining a monopoly on “violence sex.”

Making fun of the translator’s attempt does not take away the seriousness of the message !
If all you can fault is a translator error then my conclusion is that the message is all too powerful and true.

I can’t help but wonder if Jobbik supporters are aware that there are allegations that British National Party chairman Nick Griffin has been accused of having intimate gay relations with Martin Webster, a former National Front organizer and head honcho in the British fascist movement.

What a great rally that was. Truly inspiring seeing all those wannabe Hitler Youth (Magyar Garda) wearing their nice little outfits (probably gave Nick Griffins – a failed English upper-class twit – a little hard-on seeing all those strapping Aryan Hungarians) and Magyar chavs/football hooligans (the Burberry caps & Lonsdale tops gave it away) looking like they want to steal cars and hit anybody who looks at their ‘bitches’, standing around in the drizzle looking like the marginalised and bitter nutters that they are.
I particularly liked the comments during the rally about banning RTL Klub and TV2, due to the stations being full of evil Jews. So Jobbik want to ban the most popular TV stations in Hungary, which are most likely watched all day by quite a few of their supporters. So they’ll be voting Jobbik for sure now that they’ve threatened to take away their favorite TV. Talk about shooting yourself in the foot for the sake of continuity. I thought these guys wanted to win some votes next time.
My conclusion is that even too powerful and true messages can be distorted by translation errors.But logic and common sense just misleads true believers.
