Of course it was signed under pressure! Hungary was on the losing side of the war. Losers don’t get to dictate peace conditions.
With the rise of various right-wing extremist groups in Hungary, there is a very good chance Hungary will be on the wrong side again.
Look how wrong the Serbs were to challenge NATO. They got bombed and they lost Kosovo. I have no doubt that you and your buddies would like something similar to happen in Hungary so you’d be able to carry on your lament of “oh, our poor little Hungary. No one respects us,” and other self-indulgent nonsense.

true, but there was not need to use this word unless someone doesn’t want to emphasise something. And it’s not just this one word. The article is just one-sided.
e.g. “Both prime ministers have used the media to apportion blame on the other side and Fico has been widely criticized for his nationalistic stance in the past.”
See, there’s just mentioned slovak PM Fico who has been accused of adopting “nationalist” stance (which in fact is just hungarian interpretation and hungarian view) and there’s no word of the other side, no word of hungarian portion.

“Enclave” doesn’t mean anything more than a territory within the boundaries of another territory. As Dunaszerdahely (or Dunajská Streda if you prefer) is 79.75% Hungarian according to the 2001 census, I think this is a reasonable word to use. All info courtesy of Wikipedia.

I wonder when Ferenc Gyurcsány and hungarian president will finnaly bypass their phobias and come to Bratislava where they would be accepted with all honour and respect that should belong to high representatives of other country. Rather then crawling over boundary south towns.. Yes, we know, the most important here is to repeat mindlessly that the problem is on slovak side.
