Újpest to erect statue for “leftist idol” to balance new statue of rightist icon

leftist-icon.jpgSocialist politicians in Budapest’s District IV (Újpest) are planning to erect a statue of a “leftist idol” to “balance” a recently-erected statue of Transylvanian novelist Albert Wass, who is popular among rightists, reports Index.hu. Deputy Mayor Norbert Trippon told the portal that the lucky leftist to be honored is Gyula Kelemen (pictured, naturally, at left), who was a leading member of the Social Democratic Party and a minister in Imre Nagy’s government in 1956. Socialists in the district say Kelemen is also worthy of bronzing as the 110th anniversary of his birth was last year. No word if they plan on melting down the Wass statue to make the Kelemen statue, though given the hard feeling all around on this matter we wouldn’t rule it out.

Current Socialists are Communist Jews lest over from the Soviet regime, many people dont realise that the Nagy Imre and Gyula Kelemen were not part of the same gang like the current Socialist scum, Gyula Kelemen would be disgraced to know that these wolves in sheeps clothes are commemorating him..

Ahh, the mellifluous sound of intelligent comment and reasoned argument. So beautiful. You must be so, so proud of yourself, and all Hungarians with you.
