Zoltán Póczai, who had to step down as mayor of Sormás in September after being convicted of fraud and document forgery, has been re-elected to the post, writes Index.hu.
He won the by-election by 19 votes. He was convicted of paying several employees’ overtime in travel expenses and on the basis of fictional invoices.
