MSZP demands resignation of provincial Fidesz representative

The Socialists have called for the resignation of a Fidesz local government representative from Kiskunfélegyháza, who in his capacity as a school principal, did not prevent a student from having her picture taken with a wax figure of Adolf Hitler in London, Index.hu wrote.

According to István Levente Garai, a Socialist parliamentarian, the photograph could not have been snapped without the knowledge of Krisztián Kapus, the Fidesz representative in question, since he organized the trip. Garai called the photograph and its availability on the internet intolerable.

In the photograph in question, the student stands next to the statue and mimics Hitler’s pose in which he holds his fist in his hand. During the press conference, Kapus was shown in two other pictures hugging the wax figures of Yasser Arafat and Saddam Hussein.
