Hungary’s constitutional institutions have stood the test of time, but the political community is very weak, and many people are disappointed in the democratic regime, the prime minister said at a conference marking the anniversary of the republic.
The Second Hungarian Republic was declared on February 1, 1946.
Ferenc Gyurcsany said one of the biggest problems facing Hungary was the widening gaps in the political community, which is only deepened by Hungary’s right.
He added that a contradiction has prevailed since the change of regime, in that Hungarians had wanted the democratic transition and freedom, but expected that these would automatically bring a western level of living standards.
“This contradiction has created pressure in Hungary for two decades,” Gyurcsany said, adding that politicians, including himself, were partly to blame for keeping up these illusions.
Through your self promoting actions, your lies and your assault on the people in 2006,you and your gang of thieves are TOTALLY to blame -Now stop making excuses and have at least the decency to resign and run away to Israel.
I would even pay for his flight out, a one way ticket, to hell where he originally came from.
GyurcsiFercsi just love to speak. He’s not good at it, he rarely has anything to say, but he just can’t keep his mouth shut. I would print out all his idiotic speeches and make him eat it. Every word.
