Top-secret records on Communist-era informers to be turned over to civilians

Top secret magnetic tapes containing possibly the most comprehensive database of informants recruited in the Kádár-era will be processed by historians and then archived, Secret Services Minister György Szilvásy announced at a press briefing on Thursday.

Szilvásy said a working team under historian and researcher János Kenedi could start work next week.

A total of 18 magnetic tapes contain the most complete registry on “classified history” between 1945 and 1990, Népszabadság observes.

@Mawar: what do you mean by Double Talk? If you mean from the political duplicity, I’m lost how this article relates? Is it that you don’t think the tapes will be made public? Or are you describing your own comment, as in “talking gibberish?”

Do you think the tape will be turned over to civilians?? as the headline says?
    Q: WHEN??
Further, the article states, “will be processed by historians and then archived.”
Q: When?? can we see it?? WHERE??
    Please clarify!
    Greetings!
