Hungary to take “one or two” former Gitmo prisoners, no big influx of Iraqis

Hungary does not plan to receive Iraqi refugees in any organised way, Foreign Ministry state secretary Márta Fekszi Horváth told the state news agency MTI on Tuesday.

However she said Hungary will grant refugee status to any Iraqi refugees with well founded applications. The Office of the UN High Commissioner for Refugees earlier asked the EU to receive 10,000 Iraqi refugees.

If the parliamentary parties agree and the cabinet makes a decision to that effect, Hungary will receive one or two former inmates from the secure facility at Guantánamo Bay.

In January US President Barack Obama ordered the completion of the interrogations of terrorism suspects and the closure of the US military prison within one year.

Hungary will wait for the outcome of talks on the reception of those prisoners between US and EU officials in Washington on March 16. The cabinet will make a decision once the House foreign affairs and national security committees have debated the question, she said.

Fidesz spokesman Péter Szíjjártó said Fidesz does not understand why Hungary should receive any former inmates.

Do not allow them in, you are starting something that you will not be able to stop. That is why the US is getting rid of these prisoners. If Hungary accepts them, the next influx of people are going to be the entire middle east. Look at France, Germany, Belgium, England and the Netherlands. Learn from the mistakes of these countries. Sounds to me like a monetary incentive is in store for Hungary if they do accept them which is not surprising to me. Eventually their will be a crap load of mosques in Hungary. Set them free back to Iraq where they have plenty of cells in Baghdad.

Curse of the Pirezi strikes again. The Taleban warriors are cursed. Nothing will come out well for Hungary if the Taleban come here. Ligeti Attila was correct, when he said the price of fuel will rise when the Canadians soldiers use their Mig fighters and bomb the terrorists in the Turkmen borders sending them westwards to Hungary. We already pay the highest bensin in Hungary. This cannot go on anymore. We need a change. Szeb Jovot.

Sand these basterds to Stuttgart, Germany. The Germans have sufficient experience with “Bader-Meinhoff” terrorist group(1971-74)to handle Gitmo folks, the correct way; will give them an interesting choice, make it possible for all to commit suicide or just rot in hell. The German prison is hell.

Unbelievable… What did the Obamawama administration have to pay the Hungarian government to take these people in? This is a real big mistake…send them to jails in Iraq not Europe. These people are scary and would chop off your head without thinking about it. We don’t want these people in the States either.
