Hungary signs deal for American-made military vehicles

The Defence Ministry has placed orders with US concern Force Protection to buy three Cougar armoured vehicles, the company announced on Tuesday. The contract is valued at $1.3 million and the vehicles are to be shipped to Hungary by June.

CEO Michael Moody said his company is extremely pleased to provide the battle-proven Cougar to Hungary. “Cougar’s reputation for providing survivability to its occupants is world-renowned,” the statement added.
