The leader of Hungary’s radical nationalist Jobbik party on Saturday called for crisis management, improving public safety and Hungarians’ national consciousness at a European Parliamentary elections campaign rally.
Gabor Vona said Hungary should initiate talks on reducing its public debt to prevent the country’s bankruptcy, he called for “returning Hungarian markets to Hungarian agriculture” and said the central bank kept the base rate “artificially high, giving way to speculation on government bonds.”
He called for restoration of the Hungarian Gendarmerie, a force responsible for public safety in rural Hungary before World War II, because the police force was incapable of guaranteeing public safety.
So, Vona really wants ex Hungarian NATO-soldiers on the country-side, “because the police force was incapable of guaranteeing public safety”.
They are suppose to solve all problems with a burst of M16-fire?
(burst= 3 shots fired in automatic mode, developed by the US to limit the risk that the soldier uses up his mag in one go).
Think if we have had the Gendarmerie in the Autumn of 2006 in Budapest, when the “short-haired revolutionaries” stormed the MTV-house. Progress?
Viking,
You have nothing left to prove, we all know what a mental midget you are, so you can quit trying to come up with more nonsense.
Godot,
So far not one s i n g l e of you Jobos have had a clue what this Hungarian Gendarmerie will be.
Some think it will be Magyar Garda in drags.
Some think it will be old Police Officers.
Some think it will be old Soldiers.
Maybe it is time that the resident Jobos proves something more than screaming Idiot?
What’s a “jobos”? Did you just make it up?
Godot@Humour our viking,he thought it up whilst he was ‘tingling’ in the bath.At least he thinks he is funny-and the foolish usually hurt no one but themselves.
Godot,
Yes I made it up several days ago.
Jobo = Starch Jobbik Supporter that believes anything The Great Leader says, regardless how stupid it is, like the Hungarian Gendarmerie.
It is actually hilarious.
No one knows what it means, everyone has different interpretations, so the Jobbik Leadership can make this slogan without offending their greater supporter-base.
I mean, elderly men riding around in the countryside in old uniforms with feathers from a rooster?
That is the picture they are painting…
