Jobbik demands "corrupt" politicians be held to account

Jobbik, a non-parliamentary radical party which polls indicate will win at least one seat in the European Parliament, is calling for a change of government and for Hungary's ruling politicians to be "held to account", the party's leader, Gabor Vona, said on Wednesday.

Vona, speaking at a news conference alongside Geza Gyenes, chairman of the Hungarian Doctors' Association, insisted that the duty of the next government -- which polls suggest will be the current conservative opposition Fidesz -- is to create the conditions for "social catharsis" by "holding politicians to account".

Vona said that Hungary's health-care system, in particular, had suffered at the hands of successive governments over the past twenty years.

Gyenes said that health care in the country had been continually under-financed. He added that his association supported any political formation whose policies supported its aims, Jobbik being among them.

Vona said that people had "become mere tools in the hands of profiteering politicians."

He said that Jobbik would seek to identify any illegal transactions and legal remedy, adding that "the current, irresponsible and corrupt political elite see national health care as a clip-joint."

Vona said that Jobbik was considering forming co-operation agreements with professional associations and had already signed a co-operation agreement with the police trade union TMRSZ.

An official investigation, launched by Justice Minister Tibor Draskovics, examined the cooperation agreement between TMRSZ (Ready-to-Act Trade Union) and the radical nationalist Jobbik party and found the union's activities broke the law.

So they know nothing. It is just the usual hot-air spin. No real allegations, no proof, nothing, just more spin.

Yes, Viking, it is only "hot air" and "spin" without conclusive proof: these allegations about corrupt politicians. But, then again, how do you/we know that it isn't true?
If you take into consideration the number of law suits over the past year involving corrupt politicians and administrators one would be inclined to agree with Vona.
Vikky and Vona need to put their money where their mouth is and start "namimg names" and producing water-tight evidence against the transgressors.
I belive corruption is widespread and, add to this a totally useless brigade of dyed-in-the-wool,ex-commie politicians, and you have
the recipe for Hungary's current crisis.

Anybody that thinks the likes of Bajnai, Gyurcsany and the rest of the scumbags are not corrupt is plainly not living on this planet.

They should have all been put on trial a long time ago. The current penalty for corruption is promotion to the position of Prime Minister!

That is how sick the country has become :-(

'Jobbik demands "corrupt" politicians be held to account'...........

And Nazis walk free...

Is there no end to the stupdity of these people?

Apparently Not.........
