Chairman candidate of Hungary’s liberal Free Democrats Attila Retkes told MTI on Monday that the party would stop supporting the Bajnai government if he were elected.
The Free Democrats will act as a true opposition party, Retkes said, adding that the current government was not a technocrat government, as originally planned, but a Socialist one. However, the party will offer its support to concrete actual management measures that enjoy wide social consensus, he added.
Retkes said he wanted to head a party that was “reliable, loveable and practical” and followed the principles of national liberalism promoted by 19th century statesmen Ferenc Deak and Jozsef Eotvos, as well as the civil liberalism movement that existed between the two World Wars. He called for a patriotic party that also represented the interests of ethnic Hungarians living beyond the borders.
He said if were elected as party leader, he would propose a new leader for the parliamentary group. Over the past year, the party leaders and a narrow majority in the parliamentary group have been in sharp conflict with each other, which has significantly contributed to reduced credibility of the Free Democrats, he added.

Reliable…yes. They have been the most corrupt party, the party of agressive, shameless jews intent upon theft and embezzlement since their inception.
Loveable…yes. Why wouldn’t a senior not love his banker who stole all his life’s savings?
The type of Bernard Madoff or George Soros, who manipulates what his house’s worth, inflate, deflate his denominated currency at will for his own crooked benefit. Then gives him a shark loan through the IMF.
Loveability on the double.
Practical…yes. They know nothing better than fleecing their innocent victims with impunity.
