Police work outsourced in Debrecen to private security firm

Security company Pannon Guard will take part in crime prevention and patrol services in Debrecen in co-operation with the police, chairman and CEO Sándor Sutka announced yesterday.

“Our response forces will provide 24-hour armed patrol service,” said Sutka, a former head of the Hajdú-Bihar county police.

A law passed in 2005 entitles security services personnel to have pistols, he added.

Pannon Guard provides security services for public events in Debrecen, such as the annual summer flower festival. It also won a contract to prevent vandalism against buses.

Pannon Guard recently won a Ft 120 million contract to place clamps on illegally parked cars in Debrecen.

    So, who owns Pannon Guard?
Was this with hiring private security companies not a bad thing, Jobbik?
Or is it good if Fidesz is doing it, as in Debrecen?
Like they are privatising hospitals also?

    Viking,
How much are you getting paid for your lame anti-FIDESZ and anti-Jobbik ranting? You cannot be that stupid to still support MSZP, so why waste our time on this nonsense. Face it, your party has finished, you don’t have too many other parties left on the left, give it up already and try to be constructive for a change. All parties suck one way or another, all we can hope for is to pick the better ones, and push them into the right direction.

    Godot,
So what is your own opinion over this specific question of hiring Private Security companies to do normal Police work?
When MSZP-controlled body does it it is wrong?
When Fidesz/Jobbik do it, it is right?
Begs you to wonder how you regard politics – something you do or say?
Personally I check what politicians do, not what they say. Different politicians doing the same thing – what differs them?
    MSZP – INKAL
    Fidesz – Pannon Security
Jobbik – I forgot the name of that company, but some of the leaders of ex-Magyar Garda have some Private Security company.
Sense-moral: If it is good for one – it is good for all?

    Viking,
Do you always answer questions with questions? I asked first, why don’t you tell us what’s the real reason behind your anti FIDESZ anti-Jobbik crusade? What other party do you support?
