Sandor Laborc on Monday resigned as head of the National Security Office (NBH), the Prime Minister’s Office told MTI in a statement.
PM Gordon Bajnai has accepted the resignation and Laborc will step down from his post on September 1, the statement added.
Explaining his decision, Laborc referred to “anomalies in the examination of the UD Zrt affair by the investigating authorities”.
The UD Zrt affair dates back to September 2008 when investigation was launched into UD, whose staff consisted mainly of former police and national security officers, for alleged spying against politicians.
In addition, spyware was found on the computers of NBH and police suspected of installing the spyware in order to discover if security services were monitoring its activities.
The National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) launched an investigation against unidentified perpetrators on suspicion of unauthorised access to private information, breach of state secrets and breaking into state computer systems.
During the investigation the NBI discovered evidence supporting the suspicion of abuse of military products and services, abuse of office and personal data among other charges.
In June this year, the investigation was terminated.
Laborc’s appointment in December 2007 was strongly criticised by the opposition on the ground that he was trained in KGB’s Dzerzhinsky Academy for six years in the 1980s when Hungary was part of the Soviet bloc.
Laborc will be replaced by Laszlo Balajti, currently director of the National Security Services.
Obviously with that KGB-background Laborc will now become yet another of Jobbik’s Vice Presidents, with special responsibility for Security and Military issues.

I like conspiracy theories no less than the next guy, but here’s where I think your concept fails the test.
Putin as an ex KGB operative knew and knows better than anyone else what Mossad and Israel’s agencies are capable of and had done to Russia’s detriment. Putin got rid of them.
Putin reined in the jewish oligarchs like the Yukos chief and the others. The Jews do not rule Russia anymore. Who are left are useful footsoldiers to him.
Whereas they do still rule Hungary.
If Jobbik seek guidance and help from Putin, whose unfortunate country suffered from them for the better part of the last 90 years can be of any help, more power to Jobbik.

If you kept tabs on the development in today’s Russia, you would know that Stalin and much about the old Soviet-union is being rehabilitated. You hardly claim that Stalin was a Jew, also?
For many Russians today, Soviet-union was something good. That does not work with your theory of the Soviet-union being ruled by the Jews.
You seem to have missed some decades of the Russian Empire, the ones that belongs to the Soviet-union.

I was attempting to direct your limited attention span to the fact, that the Jews running the show all along did not have as much influence came Khruschev and later successor dictators in the Soviet Union with Israel’s birth, who by that time had Kennedy assasinated and took over the Federal Reserve and the American economy completely.
