All democratic forces should be mobilised in order to erect a wall to obstruct radical nationalist party Jobbik, a senior official of the Democratic Forum told a news conference on Tuesday.
Szabolcs Kerek-Barczy said that while a political consensus had emerged among the parliamentary parties in connection with the Slovak parliament’s recent adoption of a law which outlaws the use by minorities of their own language, this consensus is being seriously undermined by the irredentist activities of Jobbik.
For this reason the Democratic Forum has asked Hungarian MEPs who represent a democratic Hungary to hold a joint international press conference in order to demonstrate the country’s stand against forces which undermine its democratic and law-abiding credentials.
The MDF is a party which has been know the thread on freedoms. Anyone, or party, opposite of the MDF is considered anti-Democratic.
The fact is Jobbik is the most Democratic party in Hungary. It was built by the people, for the people. MDF was built by Western influence, for Western influence. Only a natural Hungarian party, can represent real Hungarian people. MDF wants Hungary to become like Georgia a nation with leaders who claim freedom, yet, attack, kill, and arrest their own people, all in the name of Democracy and freedom.
Hungary is not free, it is free only in name. The reality is all of Hungarians are victims of a brutal regime, which like much of the rest of Europe claims to be a free nation, but really is nothing but a regime controlled by puppets to foreign influences. Nothing is free in Hungary, nothing is free in Europe, nothing is free in this world, it’s all a big gimmick to make people believe they live in a free society.
Woulds a free society go after opposition parties, and movements like they would common criminals? Would a free society encourage crime against the Native people, and when the Natives speak up their called racist? Would a free society have unelected Western backed judges ban a group of concerned citizens? Would a free society attack peaceful citizens for no other reason then to put fear into Hungarian hearts? Free, what is free? There is no such thing, we replace one regime with another. This regime is worse.
Hmm. In Hungary there are three parties of the Right. Fidesz on 56% which is the major force due to win the next election. The two alternative choices the voter has are Jobbik on 15% and the MDF on just over 5%; which faces parliamentary extinction. (5% being necessary to get into parliament.)
Can anyone think of a motive the MDF might possibly have for urging “all democratic forces” to mobilizse against the nationalists of Jobbik?
In all their claiming to represent a “democratic Hungary” the MDF seem woefully less equipped in the actual business of practising democracy than Jobbik i.e. getting votes; and so very chillingly eager to dismiss the right to democratic representation (like the MSZP) of a growing 15% of the population.

I would call that populism and that is what Orban/Fidesz are very good at.
IMHO politics is to have an idea how to run the society and argue for it. If you get the votes, good. If you do not, try harder to explain why your idea is better than the populist pack.
At the moment Vona/Jobbik is out-smarting Orban/Fidesz, especially amongst unemployed traditional Socialist-voters. A group that always had a problem with Orban/Fidesz’s smart-ass attitude. Given a healthy dose of xenophobia does not work so bad for Vona/Jobbik either.

I think it demands a bitter more work and history of Man tells us there has always been a ‘power elite’. Thinking you can create a society free of just that, is called ‘Communism’.
