Socialist MP Kékesi may be suspect in Budapest property corruption case

“What must happen will happen,” Socialist MP Tibor Kékesi Tuesday told Lánchídrádió in a report suggesting that he could become a suspect in the Sixth District property corruption case.

The prosecutor’s office is currently investigating five suspicious district property sales between 2002 and 2006.

All the Socialist and Free Democrat local council officials who voted for the sales of properties are being treated as suspects.

Socialist mayor István Verók and deputy Socialist mayor György Fürst were both questioned at the district police station in January.

All totally innocent individuals accused for nothing but because of their party affiliations. Choir boys they are, victims of an unjust system intent upon prosecution and conceptional show trials.
Where is Amnesty International when such a few chosen ones need it?

They’re all fuckin’ corrupt. It’s part and

It is better for the world and his wife to see

The “fingers-in-the-till” syndrome has got to stop
once and for all. But will it?
NO!! Why? Because of an equally outdated and
corrupt justice system that is woefully inefficient as its political paymasters.
Hungary is a hotbed of miscellaneous double-dealings that have now become woven into the very fabric of everyday life.
Wake up you fallen angels. Felébred!

    Tacitus,
“an equally outdated and corrupt justice system that is woefully inefficient as its political paymasters”
If that was true, then why have the embarrassment of a very public prosecutor office investigation?
Would it not be easier to just not do anything and not muddle the water?

Yes and Hitler did not kill any Jews :-)

    John Simpson,
If Hitler killed any jews, mind you it’s still a matter of debate, he hasn’t done a decent job at that for sure.
Otherwise you wouldn’t be writing on this forum.
