Prime Minister Gordon Bajnai continues to have full confidence in Justice and Law Enforcement Minister Tibor Draskovics, government spokesman Domokos Szollár told reporters on Monday.
He spoke after Fidesz demanded that Bajnai fire Draskovics, calling him “a burden on the government,” due to doubts over footage of alleged terrorist activity presented by Draskovics on Friday. Fidesz MP István Balsai said the footage relates to an 2007 incident near Bonyhád.
Footage closely resembling that shown by Draskovics is being circulated on the internet. It shows scenes relating to an explosion carried out by pyromaniacs in Bonyhád, who were later prosecuted and given suspended sentences for the act.
A person identifying himself as “Pyromaster” wrote in to the website pyrocenter.hu to say that he was one of the chemistry students who detonated the explosive shown on the footage two years ago and that he does not know how HírTv or anyone else could have obtained the footage.
The National Bureau of Investigations (NNI) said it did not obtain the footage during its investigation of the incident in 2007. However, an NNI expert was unable to tell when and where the footage was shot.
NNI officials confirmed that the footage had been found on the computer of a suspected Hungarian Arrows member, but said it is not proof of any of the charges against the group.
Géza Fazekas, spokesman for the Central Prosecutor’s Office, told Népszabadság that no link can be proven between those who blew up the bomb and the radical nationalist Hungarian Arrows.

I would love to put a pyrotechnic up Tibor Draskovics’s asshole and then invite people to a press conference on terrorism!
So would I, except this imitation of a human being is not worth the ammunition. Burying alive will fit the bill.
