Indiana businesswoman expected to be named Hungarian ambassador

US President Barack Obama will probably nominate Marni McKinney, a businesswoman from Indiana, for the post of US ambassador to Hungary, MTI learned on Monday from a leader of the American Hungarian community who asked not to be named.

McKinney supported Obama’s election campaign and developed close ties with the Hungarian community of the United States.

The US administration is expected to announce her nomination in the near future.
