Gyurcsány linked to possible new liberal party

Ex-Free Democrat chairman Gábor Fodor sees a chance for the establishment of a new liberal party in which he could play a part, if its set of values were close to his own.

In an interview with heol.hu website, Fodor said a new party could “represent liberal values” alongside the newly established Liberal Civic Society, whose members include Bálint Magyar, Gábor Kuncze and Attila Retkes.

According to Magyar Hírlap, some liberals who have left the Free Democrats believe that former prime minister Ferenc Gyurcsány and one-time Free Democrat chairman Kuncze could together form a new party from the Liberal Civic Society. The liberals said the Society could notch up as much as 8-10% of the vote at next year’s parliamentary elections.

Meanwhile the entire Free Democrat Szeged chapter will quit the party, establish their own body, and for the most part deal with local matters, hvg.hu reported on Thursday.

They could call it the “Do as I say, not as I do” party. Really WTF, the people have spoke, you are not wanted in government, now do like the rest of us and go get a job, pay tax, deal with the retarded hoops you jackasses have put in place for everyone to jump through. Get a job! Life will go on without you.

    Free-wheeling, sponging, politicians, of whatever
persuasion need to rethink their role.
New clubs, new cliques, change of colours,
    revamped claptrap, new marketing techniques???
None of it will work. Its just the same old bullshit
repackaged in order to keep the same old windbags
in jobs they singularly fail to do.
Most of them (politicians) need to “retire” or,
    be “retired”, whichever is easiest!
