Hungary has chosen to receive a Palestinian national from a shortlist of three Guantanamo inmates, national daily Nepszabadsag reported on Wednesday.
Although no official decision has yet been announced, the paper said that the Palestinian inmate has been chosen over two Libyan prisoners after personal interviews with Hungarian officials.
The officials will recommend to the Hungarian government that the Palestinian candidate should be chosen, because he was seen as more “sociable” and showed more signs of a willingness to integrate into Hungarian society, the paper said.
Government spokesman Domokos Szollar told the paper that the ex-prisoner is expected to arrive towards the end of this year, and in the first phase of the integration programme, he will not be allowed to leave the country.

Okay, I’ll dance with you. So what party should I hang my hat with? I’m anti-zionist, Jews I have no issue with (when I go on the occational rant, I sometimes use the word Jew when I mean Zionist) I believe there is a problem with the gypsies, I do not agree with the living conditions I have seen some in, especially the children. I believe that they have an obligation to pull up their socks and start getting their shit together, just like Hungary has the same obligation to assist them in becoming more independent, through jobs, education etc, not throw more money at them. I believe that the Hungarian people should have more of a say in her own destiny by becoming the majority owners in various industries. I believe in freedom of speech, meaning I can believe what I want and when I want without fear of incarceration if I decide to have a conversation with friends in a cafe and end up being overheard.
I do not hate anybody, okay maybe sometimes somebody will piss me off to the point where orange beams are coming out of my eyes; I will make generalizations sure who does’nt, but I would never advocate harming another soul. I believe that a person should blend ( not disappear)into the country that they are living in, that does not mean not celebrating your own heritage or religion, I’m just saying showing more respect to that countries culture, history etc.
