Following former New York Governor George Pataki's denunciation of Slovakia's language law, via the Wall Street Journal, we've learned that:
[Slovakian] Prime Minister [Robert] Fico considers it unprofessional and politically incorrect that an American politician, George Pataki of Hungarian-Italian-Irish origin, on a personal visit commented on the language law.
I can only suspect that this was an attempt to question Pataki's Hungarian credentials, or that Fico really loves hyphens. But the reaction we've been waiting for - Jan Slota's - was quite tame by his standards. As the Slovak Spectator reports:
Slovak National Party (SNS) chairman Ján Slota, [commented] that he hoped that it was merely a personal opinion of Mr Pataki, otherwise it would make Slota laugh out loud.
Well, at least this time Slota didn't feel it necessary to insult the other person's hair.

The figure of Jan Slota is really very appealing for some hungarian bloggers. Considering the corruption scandals in which J. Slota has been involved recently, it would be about time to start looking for some other suitable subject. I understand though that the person of Jan Slota will be very difficult to replace.
Consider J SLota a GONER, he is not going to get to SK parlament for a next term... but also consider Mr.Csaky a snake who seemingly protecting HU minorities rights but on other hand looking just for his own intrest. Bela Bugar is a one of a Gentlemen in politics and I hope he can for once again change this bad taste atmosphere, which Csaky and Slota creating artificialy....
