TV journalist films evidence of electoral fraud

A staff member of MTV’s “A szólás szabadsága” show paid local residents Ft 1,000 each to sign local election nomination slips, and recorded his actions on camera to prove that anybody can obtain such signatures for cash.

By-elections will be held in the district in November after mayor Béla Csécsei resigned earlier this year.
Spokeswoman Éva Tafferner said police will investigate.

This is news? Common practice out here. Police will investigate…
and find no evidence of anything wrong, and anyway, there’s
nothing that can be done and it’s all too late, as usual. Next.
