Fourth time no charm in race to succeed comatose MP

Voters in Pécs went to the polls on Sunday to try – for the fourth time – to elect a successor to MP László Toller, who has been in a coma and declared incapacitated. János Kővári (Fidesz) received a whopping 88.3% of the votes, followed by Bertalan Tóth (9.9%) and György Walter (1.8%). For good or ill, however, only 11% of registered voters cast their ballots, less than half of the 25% required for the result to be binding. Maybe this time they should just declare the voters incapacitated. [index.hu]

UPDATE: Okay, so it turns out that Tollar actually woke up from his coma some time ago, but is still incapacitated due to brain damage. Meanwhile, the voters are still in a coma.
