Arrests made in assault on opposition-supporting TV personality

csintalan-bloody.jpgThe police have arrested four individuals connected with the assault nearly two years ago of Hír TV television personality Sándor Csintalan, who before becoming a public figure on Hungary’s right was a Socialist Party vice-chairman in the 1990s. Blikk reports that members of the Hungarian Arrows National Liberation Army were arrested the previous week in connection with the attack. Csintalan told the tabloid that with the arrests he feels he can close that chapter on his life and feel more secure. A separate report by Blikk already states that far-right agitator László Toroczkai is organizing a protest for October 23rd to free the detained members of the Hungarian Arrows.
