About 700 supporters of the grassroots movement Alliance of Hungarians (MSZ) gathered in a rally in the Buda Castle on Sunday afternoon.
The demonstrators demanded setting up a bicameral, recallable Parliament with MPs elected for seven years and electing a recallable president also for seven years in a popular vote. They also called for dissolving the current Parliament, protecting Hungarian land and national assets, and restoring what they called “historical constitutionality” by declaring the “Holy Crown to be a legal entity”.
Participants were waving national tricolours and red-and-white flags associated by many with the far right.
Closing the rally a letter containing the basic principles of a new constitution was presented to a representative of the Presidential Office.

The Alliance of Hungarians seems to be of real courageos young men. All ideas are in fact of all magyars. I ask if next time somebody from other parties will not be with them. Dissolvation of Parlament, consitution on pure historic base, all this will be welcome by all people. Only courage magyar politics need, they are too scared not to be considered by Europe like “fascists”. A referendum is needed here, also not to sell land to strangers and to get out of these strangers here who steel magyar work. But I am very sure that many politicians in parlament will encourage MSZ.
Fuck off meleg. Hideg
Nem hideg, you unholy ox! Nagyon meleg. And the temeperature is still rising. Even so, can’t you send messages without swearing? It’s so boring… This site looks now and then like the walls of a public toilet in Pecs.
These guys (MSZ) seems definitely more funny then boring Jobbik.
Some real nice demands, like “a bicameral, recallable Parliament”.
Wow, think to be able every day to collect a majority (or whatever will be needed) to throw out the Parliament.
What a wet dream for our imported ‘Tiszta Magyars’.
Since when some sincere and real patriot young peoples are “funy”? They put problems straight to the point, so nothing is funy. I hope that other politic men will be with MSZ. And the values of this great nation are not imported! They are pure, magyar values!

You just forgot that the Hungarian National State was formed as a Catholic State giving its support to the Vatican and importing all their values.
Anyone speaking about the “Holy Crown to be a legal entity” is just a Vatican-traitor, not an Hungarian Nationalist.
Do not forget Koppany, the last real Hungarian.

You have no knowledge of Hungarian History, only the oppressers version. Not worth debating with a swede meleg traitor .

You can always check up what Mr Farkas wrote about his feelings when he saw the Arpad-flag being displayed in a (Catholic) Church as part of the August 20 celebrations.
He put it a bit harder than me.
But I suppose he is just one of the usual “oppressers”.
And now you are speaking agan of historic values, wich of one is more pure! But MSZ wanted precious things to be made in the present. Why do not have the corage of speaking of these things insted of talking of history, history… Magyar peoples is sufering today and not in the past times! And MSZ seem to have real things to say, and I think that they will not be alone! I hope more magyar politicians will listen to them and will talk with them for this people.

Agree, history is good in the back-mirror, not as the road ahead.
If we look at what MSZ wants “recallable Parliament”, it would be a clear novelty where MPs would be able to be “recalled” if the current opinion did not like them. Think Gyurscany (is the meaning). OK, the problem is just that the things with elected politicians that sit ‘rather’ safe for the normal mandate period, is that they feel enough secure that they have a mandate to perform changes.
To have a “recallable Parliament” is like having a referendum every month, which would definitely not ‘empower people’, just give a vocal and active minority the chance to excel and push populist issues.
It would just take away the responsibility of the politicians, not the other way around.
And what is wrong to be recalled when people feel that politics betrayed them? What is wrong by popular vote? I am sure that this is the best way, and is not expensive, and people canot be manipulated so easy by traitors. And what do you say about protection of magyar land and assets? Why not to give them back to magyars who know better how to administrate, not to sell them outside to bankers who feed from the blood od the working people? Tere are a lot of this to do and a lot of real intelligent magyars know how to do it, without to be afraid all the time by referendums. And why referendums? A strong president and government for a longer period (seven years, by example) will bring here peace and prosperity for magyars first. If others do not like, go home to your peoples!
