Conservative opposition party Fidesz has not included Oszkar Molnar -- a mayor from north Hungary who gained notoriety for his anti-Roma and anti-Semitic remarks -- on its list of candidates for the next parliament, the party's spokesman told Monday's Nepszabadsag daily.
The list has yet to be approved by Fidesz's national board on December 14, said Peter Szijjarto.
Molnar, Mayor of Edeleny, triggered outrage after saying in a TV interview in the summer: "Hungarian interests to global capital -- Jewish capital if you like -- which wants to devour the whole world, especially Hungary."
Molnar also claimed that pregnant Roma women in his town harmed their unborn babies in order to get higher family allowances.
Even Fidesz has some sense, it seems. Well, I
imagine Jobbik will be happy to have him.
If Molnar, and people like him, make these claims they have to provide proof. Has he/they got any?
If Jobbik are "pariahs" equally so are MSZP and Fidesz albeit for completely different reasons.
Those who think Roma are not a problem in this country are fools. Many Hungarians loathe gypsies.
Don't shoot the messenger now, will you??!!
Jobbik would do well to place Mr. Oszkar Molnar on its list. He is a courageous and honest Hungarian. Hungary needs many more Oszkar Molnars.
Those who think that Jobbik are "pariahs" should consider that Jobbik won nearly 15% of the votes at the EP election and has three delegates. The Communist MSZP and SZDSZ have four delegates.
There is a good chance that Jobbik will beat MSZP in 2010. Who will be the "pariahs" then?
To respond to Mark and Beszél is only possible in their terms..............they are a pair of ignorant, racist wa**kers.
Thanks, Abacsi: You took the words right out of my mouh...
@ Beszel
"If Molnar, and people like him, make these claims they have to provide proof. Has he/they got any?"
Of course not - there is no proof.
Luckily for Molnar, there is some kind of a law in Hungary that protects him from libel and prosecution.
He can say whatever the f... he wants because he
knows there will be no consequences. Very brave indeed.
Being called racist by racists is no concern of mine because I do not advocate violence against anyone and does neither Jobbik nor the Hungarian Guard while those who spew hate at Jobbik and its supporters come from the camp of those whose hands are soiled by the blood of innocents.

So Mark and Jobbik protests against the violent methods used by Budahazy, The Hungarian Arrows and the 'Debrecen Nazis'?
Funny that I seem to have missed those statements....
I only see statements of support for the 'Hungarian Patriots'.
Time and time again Viking mouth is like a sewer
making up Bullshit about patriotic Hungarians.
Bullshit about patriotic Hungarians.

Just answer the question:
- How can Jobbik be 'non-violent' when it never protests against the violent methods being used by other parts of the extreme right in Hungary?
Jobbik instead supports and co-operates with these organizations.
None of these 'Patriots' are never ever guilty of what they are accused of, regardless the evidence against them. That is how Jobbik, in a coward way give support to their violent actions, instead of standing up and declaring publicly what they really think = that violence is a good politically method.
