The murderer
A gypsy youngster (17) has been given one year
suspended sentence for beating to deaths one of
his classmates. The incident took place on January
10, 2008; both students attended the same high
school but at some point, their relations soured
to the point of open hostility. After school, the
gypsy followed his Hungarian classmate home and
attacked him on the street; after the fight, the
victim went home, but soon after collapsed and
later died in hospital due to brain hemorrhage.
The original MTI report, as usual, didn’t mention
the background of the culprit; neither the
complicit mainstream media. These outlets give the
impression that Hungarians were involved in the
incident. However, kurucinfo investigated and
found the murderer. But even if you don’t know who
the culprit was, the fact that he received such a
lenient sentence should tell you that he was a
gypsy. Actually, as the world enters into the
post-democratic era, people have to learn how to
read between lines, exactly, how it was during the
days of communism.

Hungarians committing trivial offences against
gypsies the sentences are way harsher. A year ago,
in the town of Barcs, Hungarian youngsters slapped
a gypsy pickpocket wanting to steal money from

Unless you were at the trial and heard the evidence you are in no position to judge the outcome.
Assuming the perpetrator did not have the best defense lawyer(s) money could buy, and was not defended by OJ Simpson’s type “Dream team” , I am pretty sure there were compelling reasons for what appears on the surface to be a light sentence.
There is a hell of a lot more to this story than the information you posted – “selective information” is certainly your MO.
a. He was 17 – was age a factor under Hungarian law?
b. Was the sentence handed down by a Judge or a jury? If it was a Judge, s/he would have given reasons for the sentence. What reasons were given?
c. If it was a Jury, what were the instructions by the Judge to the Jury?

Some of the outrageous rulings by “Hungarian” courts reflect the defects in the post-Communist Constitution that is not a lot different from the Rakosi era Constitution and the same goes for the judges, all the way up to the Constitutional Court. I recall that one of the earliest rulings of this court was to bar the persecution of Communist murderers for their crimes. They may have had some self-interest in that ruling…
I admit that there are many problems with the US legal system but it is far better than the Hungarian and European legal systems. I do not know much about the Canadian legal system but I do not believe that Canada respects freedom of speech as the US Bill of Rights.
I like the US Constitution, the US Small Courts system but I like the US trial by jury most. You had to notice that there are some people who are quick to call Jobbik and Jobbik supporters Nazis, Arrowcross and worse. These are all lies and it has been my experience that this is the favorite attack used by Jewish Communists, labeling those who wish to preserve Hungary for Hungarians.

There are no Nazis or Arrowcross in Hungary but as you are gradually finding out, the Communists are still in power. Today, the closest thing to Nazi Germany is Israel. Same brutality and the same claim to lands of others for living space (lebensraum). Anyone who does not live in a cave had to witness the destruction and slaughter of Gaza Palestinians to teach a lesson, the same as Hitler did. The illegal developments in the occupied territories are another example of Nazi like conduct. Hungarians do not have a desire to do any of these things. All they wish is to be able to live as Hungarians in their own country.
@Olga: The Hungarian legal system is largely based on the German model, which means no jury of your peers to balance judicial power, nor is there any real case law, so each judge is free to come to a completely different conclusion from another judge on a similar case (unless the higher court has passed a law on this). Germany got rid of juries in the 1920s because they believed too many people were being acquitted who should have been found guilty. The Hungarian justice system is a frightening thing. Quite unbelievable.

The biggest problem with the “Hungarian” judiciary is the Communist or Communist sympathizer judges, especially the Constitutional Court judges. The Rakosi era Constitution was also stuffed with platitudes with freedom and rights and stuff but they had the Jewish/Communist AVO and judiciary to ignore even the most basic of all human rights not to be tortured to confess things people have never done and murder people for “crimes” they confessed to under torture. It is not much different today because the Constitutional Court does not respect even what little guarantees the Hungarian Constitution provides:

In any normal society this would hardly be a court case then it is extremely hard to prove that the ‘brain haemorrhage’ was caused by explicitly the convicted person’s violence and not by any other cause.
This 17-year old was convicted most likely due to he was Roma, not that he was given a too small sentence.
If the situation had been the opposite then any non-Roma would probably not have been sentenced at all.

Why would “race and ethnicity” be important in a debate?
Does those things decide who is right or wrong?

It does make a difference because some of these countries have a horrible history of abuse of women and children. I would advice any Hungarian girl to stay as far away as possible from his kind because they cannot be trusted to respect the rights of women. In their culture, women and little girls are valued less than goats. His background becomes eve more significant when he tries to lecture Hungarians and others on rights while they are light years behind our treatment of women and children.
Every time any of us makes a critical statement about others, it is necessary to understand where the other person is coming from. To give you an example, I found that Communists or Jews or Jewish Communists most often accuse others of being Nazis, Fascists and Arrowcross. They are also the same people who find excuses for Communist especially Jewish Communist criminals. These same people will try to minimize the crimes committed by Gypsies against Hungarians while calling racist those Hungarians who object to their people robbed and murdered by Gypsy criminals. These generalizations are not always correct but correct most of the time.

Individual Judges’ powers notwithstanding, hopefully they have to explain why they made the decisions and how they decided on sentencing.

The Canadian and US Justice systems have very basic differences. We don’t have the death penalty in Canada while some States do. Poor people accused of crimes have a choice of private practice lawyers, we don’t have government lawyers assigned to them. (They get a certificate from Legal Aid that guarantees lawyer fees) Our Prosecutors are lawyers who apply for the jobs – they are not appointed or elected.
Judges are appointed, not elected. Many more differences but those are the basics I can think of. It’s an imperfect system but in my opinion a good one and better than the American system. Of course that’s not an objective opinion as I am biased when it comes to Canada

I believe that America is a great country and the American people are honest and hard working but the government does not always do right by the people. While I try to influence American politics for the better as I can, I do not talk dirt about a country that is home to about a 1-1/2 million Hungarians. I believe that I am a loyal American and a loyal Hungarian and want what is best for both countries. That is because we Hungarians “nem szarunk oda ahol eszünk ahogy ti”.

judges (lay-judges)” I’m going to look into this. The truth is, unlike other places I’ve lived I have never actually been present in court in Hungary. Normally things have been sorted out well before then.
As the end of the year is nearing most accountants and lawyers are busy finishing off all the work that wasn’t processed during summer while the judges were doing sod all and their devils (a legal term in English, both verb and noun, for a person delegated to carry out work in another person’s absence) were trying to stall. Normally by mid September the judges have realized the extent of the backlog, but it takes them to November to give a shit by which time there is little time to act and meanwhile any public money needs to find a way to be spent in case budgets are cut next year etc…
Which is a longhand way of saying that either I am going to bore friends silly over Christmas (nothing new there) asking them about this or I’m not going to get a chance to the new year to find out how it works in practice. So if I do find anything out I’ll report.
Having said that I received a direct email late this afternoon that gives me reason for concern. Once I have fully traced this and made sure it is innocuous I’ll get back.
One way or another, I’ll report back. The email was not pleasant.

We have a rule: “Justice delayed is justice denied” – had really heavy duty cases dismissed by the Coursts because the Crown did not get its act together and there was undue delay for the case to be hear. I totally disagree with that – can you imagine being the victim’s family?

I do not know about civil war. There was no civil war during the 1956 Hungarian Uprising because it was not Hungarians against Hungarians but the Soviets and their stooges.
