Support for Hungary’s two largest parties remains unchanged from December, as Fidesz is preferred by 63% of decided voters, and the Socialists by 21%, according to the latest Szonda-Ipsos poll.
Jobbik’s support grew from 10% last month to 12% in January.
The Democratic Forum has 2%, the Free Democrats and Politics Can Be Different 1% each.
Only 43% of respondents said they would vote if the election were held this Sunday, as against 58% in 2002 and 54% in 2006.
Fidesz is strongest among those under 50 years of age at 43%, while 25% of those under 60 support the Socialists. Jobbik’s following comes from those under 30 years and those without post-secondary education.
The survey of 1,500 adults was conducted January 5-12. The margin of error is 2.5%.
Szonda-Ipsos methods:

The problem with Szonda-Ipsos and other polls is that people who experienced Communist terror or know those who experienced Communist terror do not trust people asking questions. This was evident when the EP election polls predicted less than 5% for Jobbik and Jobbik came in with almost 15%.
It would surprise me if Jobbik were not already ahead of Communist MSZP. I like Vona’s optimism but I see a Jobbik government in 2014 with Jobbik taking second place in 2010 with over 20%, enough to exercise a strong, pro-Hungarian influence on Fidesz.
Another problem with Szonda-Ipsos is that their data is not reliable, they pay their people so little, and much of the data is false as the operators will input anything after people hang up on them.
Polls only work in countries where people are not afraid to answer questions of strangers.
So jackass, which country is this?
cest moi–I think you meant to ask Mark “so dear sir, which country is THAT ?” You do not need to thank me for correcting your ignorance,it was gratis
@ Ricsi;
I don’t know, doesn’t sound right to me. How about:
” My Dear Sir, and those countries would be?”
That would be more like it don’t you think?
Jobbik’s support grew from 10% last month to 12% in January.

The margin of error is 2.5%.

Conclusion: +-0, nothing is proven then all changes are inside the margin of error.
The actual support for Jobbik is probably over 20%. If anyone follows the discussions just on, this list can see the abuse Jobbik supporters have to put up from Communist/Zionist scumbags.
These scumbags miss no opportunity to provoke Jobbik supporters. Some Jobbik supporters made the mistake of providing personal information about that they must regret. My words of caution to new posters here with anti-Communist, pro-Jobbik orientation, do not disclose any personal information. Some of you may want to share such personal information that is worthy of respect and you may want to share it with your friends. Do not do it. This is not the place for it. There are patriotic lists by invitation only and even those are probably infiltrated by these scumbags.
I feel for my patriotic Hungarian brothers and sisters busting with pride about their wonderful journey of self-discovery only to be questioned and ridiculed by “people” who hate us. Your friends know who you are and appreciate you and you own absolutely nothing to anyone. Your friends do not ask for it and the scumbags are not entitled to any.
If you posted some information before you read my warning, ignore their disgusting and futile attempts to belittle you. We know you and appreciate you for being a patriotic Hungarian. The scumbags do not count.
