Most likely the court case will focus more on the means by which the information was obtained than the actual information. Unlike the US - where once information has reached the public domain the means are not an issue - here most defamation cases use this as their sole basis to punish people who bring information into the public sphere.

i fully understand your point. Now, i don't (did not) know what is Jobbik message in terms of moral values, so i might have been just innocently naive asssuming that in general it is like most european parties, not mixing specific christian moral aspects in political life, this makes especially american politics to me personally disgusting and double standards. The problem there is that people who usually mostly preach christian values are actually least following them, and mostly forgetting even the basic aspects of the values of christian faith. So maybe my point was not correct here. For normal politicians i still see no relevance what they do in their bedrooms and with whom.

Aren't the Roma Hungarian? Hungarians are after all a mix of many nationalities. It is a complete myth that there is some sacred Hungarian bloodline that can be traced back 1000 years. The science of population genetics just simply does not support that assertion.

Roma have been in Hungary for some 500 years. Provide them with equal educational opportunities and stop discriminating against them in work and then you won't have to worry about supporting them via welfare.

Worried about their birthrates - give them economic opportunity - birth rates always fall when a people are relatively well of.

In the US we have slowly improved the status of blacks. We still have a long way to go, but education was the key. Some of my best students are blacks and as far as potential I see no difference. Given the many successful and highly educated Roma in Hungary it is clear that they have the same potential too.

Treat a people as inferior, stick them in lousy schools, and discriminate against them in the workplace and they're young will be left without hope and will likely turn toward crime.
