Former prime minister Ferenc Gyurcsány will make a speech on Hungary’s last few years and the tasks ahead at a Democratic Charta public function on March 19.
Gyurcsány has until now only addressed closed party forums since resigning as premier last year.
The fight has begun over who will be Socialist Party caucus leader and chairman, Magyar Hírlap comments.
Gyurcsány has a vested interest in electoral failure, which could bring a special party convention early in the summer. If Jobbik finishes ahead of the Socialists in the elections, Gyurcsány could become caucus leader, the right-wing daily adds.

This must arguable be the best argument why anyone should -*not* vote for Jobbik:
“A vote for Jobbik is a vote for Gyurcsány’s Return”
.
It is a bit funny actually, talk of ‘choosing 2 evils with one stone’
It will be good for a few laughs…
I for one would love to see Gyurcsány be faced in parliament by Vona continually telling him how much prison time he faces should Jobbik form a govenrment.
