The leaders of several foreign countries and international organisations have congratulated Fidesz leader Viktor Orbán and “through him Hungary” on his large-scale election victory, Magyar Hírlap reports.
Congratulations have been received from, among others, European Commission President José Manuel Barroso, Romanian President Traian Basescu, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas and former New York governor George Pataki.

Fidesz and Orban have many faults but it sure feels good to kick out the stinking Communists, hopefully forever.
Lendvai better saddle her broom and fly home or face charges for her role in the BKV corruption.
You could always sentence her to ride on one of those exploding buses. …something satisfying about poetic justice.
Lendvai is the personification of evil.
Even the wizards, and witches, and goblins, and banshees , ditched her.
I could think of something better to do with that broomstick…
Anyway, it’s goodbye to one horror show and hello
to the new kids on the block with their musical
roadshow entitled: Springtime for Orbi and Hun-ga-ry.- The producers? The same gang that were behind the Lendvai schlock-horror show.
Frightening isn’t it…?
George Pataki is a world leader? I didn’t know New York State had been promoted to sovereign nation status
Well, he’s a neo-con.
