Orbán says top-notch counter-terrorism center a must

Hungary, like any developed country needs an anti-terrorism centre of the highest quality, Prime Minister Viktor Orban said on Wednesday, the day when the new centre was officially established.

Interior Minister Sandor Pinter handed over the centre’s founding documents to brigadier general Janos Hajdu, the director of the centre, in a ceremony held at a Budapest barracks.

By setting up the centre, “Hungary has taken a great step towards becoming a strong and modern country which is able to protect its citizens and enforce its interests,” Orban said. He said that nearly nine years after the 9/11 attack, it is a widely-recognised fact that new global security challenges must be tackled, in governmental, political, economic and defence terms alike.

“Terrorism is today the number one among those challenges,” he said.

Orban said members of the centre are highly-skilled individuals with specialised capabilities.

Addressing the ceremony, Gilles de Kerschove, the European Union’s Counter-terrorism Coordinator, said Hungary was among the first countries to recognise that a well-structured and efficiently functioning organisation can help prevent possible tragedies caused by terrorists.

The setting up of the centre is a good and promising start in view of Hungary’s upcoming EU presidency in the first half of 2011, he added.

The centre’s tasks will include protecting the prime minister and the president, as well as to investigate and prevent planned terrorist acts, including kidnapping and hijacking vehicles in air, railways, public road or waterways.

There would have never been 9/11 if US foreign policy had not become an instrument of Nazi Israel and if America did not supply Nazi Israel with the military equipment and ammunition to murder Arabs and Palestinians. Many US policy experts discussed this in detail and were hounded and smeared as Nazis, anti-Semites, terrorists and whatever by the Jewish media. The Jewish lobby got America in the wars that may end US military and economic supremacy and could destroy a one proud Nation all could admire and aspire to follow.
The last thing Hungary needs is counter-terrorism center. It will be very expensive and use up resources that could be spent to improve the lives of Hungarians. It will also be a red flag for Arab terrorists who may decide to target Hungary.
A Hungarian government unable to protect its own citizens from out of control gypsy crime could be no match for Arab terrorists. The only reasonable course of action to take for Hungary is to divorce itself from the Middle-East conflict, withdraw her troops from Afghanistan and stop being subservient to Nazi Israel. These steps would assure that Hungary not become a target for Arab terrorists. It is not Hungary’s fight. Hungary should not favor the Arabs or the Jews and the same goes for the US and everyone else. If the Arabs and Jews want to murder each other, they should pleasure themselves but no one else should help either side.

    Really nice:

Now let’s modify this a little bit:
If the Hungarians and Roma want to murder each other, they should pleasure themselves but no one else should help either side.
What do you think about that ?

The western europian countries and US opened the borders for millions of non-western immigrants and starting wars in the middle east. Now they eat the fruits of those “stupid” choices…
It is very simple, Hungary doesnt need this centre at all and can avoid all the problems you see in western europe…if they close the borders for mass immigration from arab, asian and african countries!!
We have enough problems already! We need the money for our own people!!

    Psssss LHVJ,
Sleep well tonight….typically terrorists hit targets to impede economic damage and/or fast-track the government to change some type of foreign policy. Since Hungary doesn’t have much of an economy and little if any foriegn policy, our terrorist friends will likely avoid little ole Hungary.
    Night-night,
    Orby
