Hungarians gave the Orbán cabinet a “mediocre” mark for its performance in a Szonda Ipsos telephone poll of 1,200 residents.
Some 40% of the respondents said the activity of the Orbán cabinet has not changed the country’s position, 37% said it has improved things, 15% that it has worsened the situation, while 8% did not know or would not answer.
Around 45% said the economy has not changed, 26% said it has worsened and 19% said it has improved.
The poll was conducted from August 7-15.
