Monok government revokes social card

The new local government in Monok has revoked the social card decree backed by previous mayor Zsolt Szepessy. Mayor Emese Bártfay Demeter said the card had restricted the needy of the right to freedom of choice.

The local council also revoked a statement of intent that ethnic Hungarians with residency in Hungary could apply for dual citizenship.
