The Teachers’ Union has announced it will join the trade unions demonstration scheduled for the beginning of October, vg.hu reports.
Istvánné Galló, the president of the Teachers’ Union announced on Wednesday that the union would join the other demonstrators since the new education program developed by the government had yet to be made public, despite promises to make it public earlier this month.
Galló added that many of the new measures put forward by the government were likely to lead to a loss of 30,000 teaching jobs in the near future.
