A lot of people had fun with the fact that the big pro-government rally earlier this month was dubbed a “peace march,” for the obvious reason that “peace marchers” tend to be hippies and pacifists rather than right-wing nationalists of the sort you usually expect to find beating up hippies and pacifists. But maybe not!
According to a statement from the Fidesz office in Székesfehérvár, a group of local “peace marchers” returning from Budapest were set upon by a gang of unidentified assailants. In addition to subjecting the peaceniks to verbal and physical abuse, the attackers trampled on and “defiled” the national flag of Hungary, and damaged the signs carried home by the marchers.
The statement went on to say that the assault was “clearly aimed at the city’s residents, who were abused for their Hungarianness, human dignity and honor in supporting the Hungarian government,” but did not encourage everyone to mellow out and make love not war. [index.hu]

What an underhanded, slimy load of crap this article is!
There is an event (people are beaten up) that any normal human being would or should reject, instead it is used to make fun of people who exercised their democratic rights. Imagine of those beaten up were members of the Socialist Party, Gipsies or Jews, the whole EU, the UN would be rushing in, breaking down the doors to save the poor people from the Hungarian dictatorial regime.
Instead, what we get here is making fun of the victims who received a beating for expressing their opinion in a democratic and peaceful way. Oh yes, this article is just another example of the lack of freedom of the press in Hungary.
You’re entirely right!
People should not beaten up for their stupidity!
This is clearly an act of forcible enlightenment, by any means!
Those poor citizens just can not help on their urge to demonstrate just how retarded they are, and hurting them, because of this is a really low, despicable act!
Come on, people, let’s share our sorrow, regarding those who still think, that Mr.Orban is the right person to lead Hungary!
I’ll go and light a candle for their soul – they need it!
Oh … you are trying to be sarcastic?
It is understandable, after all, what’s left for an idiot, like yourself, to do when you have nothing intelligent to say?
I know, life must be hard and frustrating for you these days, when you have to be sarcastic about such ‘banalities’ as human rights and democracy. But again, these are prety foreign concepts for your tiny litlle brain.
Oh no!
I am deadly serious – I mean it!
Think about it: hurting someone, just because he/she is stupid, is a no-no!
Let us be honest: marching with a well known racist (Mr.Bayer) and a well known right wing capitalist (Mr.Széles) right behind the idiotic sign: “Hungary will not be a colony” – or something similarly retarded – definitely demands, that the participants – at the very least – stupid, otherwise why on earth someone would be there? (Except Leto, but he is a category by himself.)
All what they have been supporting is Mr.Orban’s reign, in order to let themselves abuse even longer by that little prick, in the name of “The Nation” – whatever it means in this case.
Think abut it: aunt Bessy from Alcsutdoboz is really, knowingly want to pay more taxes in order to support the grandson of uncle Aron of Csikszereda in his study of religious doctrines in Hungary?
Is aunt Bessy really supposed to pay higher taxes, just to Mr.Szijjártó should have more income? – Because this is the case!
Would you dare to say, that all those miserable souls, who participated on that rally was fully aware, that they came – from Székesfehérvár in this case – to support another “folk-skinning” (népnyúzó was the favourite term) government?
- Or just how would you define them? I eager to hear, really!
Regarding your little comment: do you really think, you know me?
Think again, dear1
“Regarding your little comment: do you really think, you know me?”
First: I don’t think you know even yourself.
Second: No, I don’t know you ‘rally’, but I know of you more than I would have liked to. Anything more would make me throw up.
Come on, don’t bother setting up a separate category just for me. I was only one participant there out of several hundreds of thousands of people and some friends of mine I walked with there have got the same qualifications like mine and they probably belong to my IQ decile as well.
“..have got the same qualifications like mine and they probably belong to my IQ decile as well..”
- Exactly!
” I don’t think you know even yourself. ”
- Nice to know, that you know that I don’t know – and now we all know, that you know that I don’t know, too…
“I know of you more than I would have liked to”
- It called “occupational hazard” – common in your line of “work”…
“Anything more would make me throw up.”
- You may even consider to change your diet and/or your drinking habit, particularly in times when you rally with your like-minded comrades, it can be heavy even on your stomach.
@Leto
- In your case I know, that you sincerely devoted, no doubt.
All of the wrong reason, mind you, but I never thought that you have been cajoled into participating – you knew where you going and why – as opposed to the majority.
Hence the category, as you may have guessed till now.
@spectator:
I’ve got bad news for you: I think a lot of people on that rally of several hundreds of thousands, walking from Heroes’ Square to Kossuth Square on the 21st of January, knew exactly where they were going and why.
On the other hand that clearly wasn’t the case, say, on the next day on the few thousand strong demo for Klubrádió (allegedly for the freedom of press and whatever)
When a single speaker from many, Balázs Dénes (of “Társaság a Szabadságjogokért”) reminded the crowd how Klubrádió was very, very silent in 2009 when Danubius and Sláger rádió lost their frequencies and TASZ still protested at that time, too, he also reminded how Klubrádió has been functioning as a mouthpiece to MSZP on a daily basis since the very beginning then the hard core MSZP-pensioners looked very, very puzzled and they they started heckling him badly.
@ Leto
Leto, you did it again … you are trying to reason with an idiot.
When will you learn?
For quite a few characters here posting comments is not about debating an issue, it is about engaging in a verbal-sparring. They are not interested in what you have to say (usually they ignore your main point), but they focus in on an insignificant word and part of a sentence and use it as an alibi to publish their demagogue stupidity.
At least, this is how I see it.
@Cogito
When do you ever “debate” an issue on this site? I guarantee you that if you show all your posts to a neutral expert on debate, he or she would quickly inform you that what you write is not debate.
Yet you are complaining that so many people here don’t debate… you may not have much intelligence, but you certainly have a lot of gall!
@sectator
“I’ll go and light a candle for their soul”
And where are you going to stick that candle; in your Menorah or in your ass?
@Double,
What about yours, darling?
Sorry, the comment goes to HH63!
- As you did reasoned to the substance of my comment?
Be your age and crawl out of the sandbox, woill you?
You, as noticeably the whole miserable Fidesznyik horde has usually no any viable argument anyway, – only personal insults, since that’s the level, that’s what “the same qualifications” and (most probably!) the very same IQ can provide.
Would be hard to argue about this one, though, you look- and sound the same,- most be a common ideological ancestor as it seems, straight from the glorious thirties..
You, dear, and the whole sorry bunch of your kind can not do anything constructive, but trying to figure out the next scapegoat, in a futile effort to conceal your inadequacy, and, when it fails, go attacking in flocks, following the best traditions of the other scavengers, with the same IQ, if I’m generous enough.
Probably.
Or else.
Otherwise, as the participants themselves stated in various forms and media, many of them have been informed, that they should demonstrate “for their homeland” which otherwise would fell into the hands of the evil capitalists in the EU and IMF…
And the next day Mr.Orban boasted all over the world, just look, isn’t it great, how “his people” just love him..!
All the others were the grateful ones, those who live definitely much better now, “than four years ago”!
- And that’s about it, because the rest certainly don’t, thank to the idiotic ideology-based economic policies, imposed upon them by the “unorthodox” Orban-Matolcsy duo.
So, you very welcome to call me whatever your collective IQ capable of, it still doesn’t change the fact, that you have a straight, one-way trip down to the sewer, what you belong anyway, with your almighty leader showing the way.
Unfortunately you will take the whole country with you as well, throwing away one of the greatest opportunities of the last twenty years to do something right finally.
Instead of comes another twenty years on the peripheries of Europe.
Thank you, Mr.Orban!
(This was obviously addressed to me.)
@postcommie fag:
Hey, take a break! You start sounding really incomprehensible.
(The word “fag” was for your calling me “dear” and you’ll get that each time in return.)
Hmm, actually it wasn’t.
Actually it should have to your supporter, who certainly has no idea what his nick really means.
But thanks for the compliment anyway
