Hungary’s ambassador to The Hague was among diplomats from 10 central and eastern European Union member states who asked the Netherlands to condemn a far-right party’s website calling on people to report citizens from the east of the continent for taking away jobs and being a “nuisance”, the foreign ministry said on a statement on Tuesday.
The open letter signed by diplomats from Bulgaria, the Czech Republic, Estonia, Hungary, Latvia, Lithuania, Poland, Romania, Slovakia and Slovenia, deplored the “clearly discriminatory and humiliating initiative” by Geert Wilders’ Freedom Party.
“[T]he statistics clearly show that our fellow citizens contribute significantly to the growth of the Dutch economy and the Dutch budget. The truth also is that our citizens do not take jobs from the Dutch nationals,” the letter said.

Aahh, Hungary is officially complaining on ‘bob’s’ favourite European politician
What a shame we cannot see ‘bob’ defend Gert Wilders today
Would be interesting to see ‘bob’ being called ‘anti-Hungarian’ and ‘racists’ from today’s defender of ‘The Hungarian Right’
That website http://www.pvv.nl [-we read and understand Dutch language-] is not discriminative whatsoever.
This central wing politic party is on electoral winning hand and needs offensive opposition activities.
Nothing wrong with that website at all.
Did the mr. Ambassador visit, read it ??
We do not think so !!
“Did the mr. Ambassador visit, read it ??”
Do not think so either. By the way…..he war right away reported for being a “nuisance”.
The websitein question is:
http://www.meldpuntmiddenenoosteuropeanen.nl/
Google Translate works quite well in this case..
The juicy bit:
“Do you experience troubles because of CEE nationals? Or have you lost your job because of a Pole, Bulgarian, Romanian or other Central or Eastern European? We would like to hear from you. The Freedom Party has a platform on this website to report your problems. We will process the complaints and submit the results to the Minister of Social Affairs and Employment.”
Full of irony:
Wilders initiative was criticized by all the other parties within the dutch parliament. Mrs.Kroes said it was ridiculous. She was one of the first to react. Mr.Wilders is married with a Hungarian woman.
He is a strong supporter of Israel. And like many Hungarian politicians looking for the next scapegoat to blame.

In comments posted on Twitter, Kroes mocked the Freedom Party’s initiative
“Ridiculous to think that denouncing others on a website will make Netherlands or EU a better place,” Kroes said. “What next? Your wife annoys you? Forget Valentine’s Day, log on and denounce her!”
So maybe this is just Geert Wilders way to tell his wife He is not so happy with Her, but does not want to make it too personal?
Well…probably not easy to be married and having 4 bodyguards around you 24 hours a day.
the wife of Wilders is jewish with the hungarian nationality.
“Mr.Wilders is married with a Hungarian woman”
Well, that explains everything…she obviously converted him through the exchange of bodily fluids.
Thank GOD, we have posters who pay attention to details.
In the first place the prime minister of the Netherlands didn’t condemn it and said it was a party matter.
Also judicial officials said, the site was not against dutch and EU laws.
There are a lot of problems with people from eastern europe in countries like Holland, criminality ect. We have to be honest about this.
I think it is very good to monitor not only positive points of free movement but also the negative and the latter is exactly what someone like Neelie Kroes does not want.
Now some (left wing and liberal) members of the EC use the same words as they used against Hungary, that it is against europian “spirit and values”. So that is how these people want to silent every oposition against their insane EU project.
Wilders is right of the danger of Islam
I have just become a Wilder fan
Thanks to him, the Globe and Mail newspaper (we subscribe to the daily hard copy version) carried a story about his website today written by Doug Saunders that states in part:
……. ” his party’s new site, urges residents of the Netherlands to report their Romanian, Bulgarian, Slovakian and (especially) Polish neighbours to the authorities, and offers forms with which to do so. It accuses these migrants of “many problems, nuisance, pollution, displacement” and the stealing of Dutch jobs, and features headlines claiming that Europe’s Slavs are criminal threats. As with his earlier attacks on Muslims, the site uses images and rhetoric reminiscent of darker periods in Europe’s history. ”
Doug Saunders is the head of the Canadian Globe and Mail’s European Bureau based in London and has often written scathing articles about Vona, JOBBIK and their dearly beloved MG.
With any luck and thanks to Wilder and his Freedom from Sanity Party, Saunders will have less time to write about Hungary’s lunatics, so Go Wilder !
On another note, the article also states:
” But Mr. Wilders is attempting to appeal to a rather different mood, one partly born of rising unemployment and partly of a new strain of nativist politics in northwestern Europe, one that has seen right-wing racist parties win parliamentary seats in Denmark, Sweden, Finland and the Netherlands. ”
Oh my God, this can’t be – Obnoxious never mentioned that ultra right-wing racist parties existed outside Hungary’s borders or that the evil gene was not restricted to Hungarians so had I not read this article, I would still be saying Mea Culpa at least 25 times a day . Now I can pass the torch to Viking who wishes he because his postings notwithstanding, I know that being Swedish means he is a racist pig. (that expression is so unfair to pigs, so Mea Culpa for the last time)
one that has seen right-wing racist parties win parliamentary seats in Denmark, Sweden, Finland and the Netherlands

I think you can include a bunch of other countries also here, like France, Belgium and Norway
There is a distinct difference to Hungary though:
* These mainly Western Europe racist (and ‘Nationalist’) parties are built upon the hatred against Islam in particular and immigrants in general. They are all also very pro-Z**n*sm/*sr**l and have probably a not insignificant number of practising J*w*sh members/voters
You would not see that around \Jobbik\, which is clearly stuck in an Hungarian fascist movement from the 1920, with clear influences from Nazism
And that is why \Jobbik\ find it so hard to find any partners out in Europe, all of \Jobbik\ earlier ‘friends’ have turned away from \Jobbik\, or \Jobbik\ has rejected them
SO, \Jobbik\ is, to my knowledge, the biggest Neo-Nazi movement in Europe today, with latent support of minimum 20% of the Hungarian electorate
This is clearly an Hungaricum
On the other hand, there is one thing that unifies all these racists (and ‘Nationalist’) parties over Europe, regardless their view on J*ws and *sr**l and that is their anti-Ziganism, hatred of Roma. That hatred is definitely not an Hungaricum, but Hungary, with the rise of \Jobbik\, is one of the countries in Europe where this hatred is clearly noticeable, having broad public support
And Hungary is probably the only country in Europe that still allows political organisations to set up ‘an uniformed wing’ as the ban on Magyar Garda was in reality overturned in December last year, so we will see a lot of them now in the future
@MagyarViking
“one that has seen right-wing racist parties win parliamentary seats in Denmark, Sweden, Finland and the Netherlands”
I often agree, and like to read your comments…this time I disagree with calling Wilders PVV racist. It is not. There are very few racists in our country. Not enough to form a party. Wilders (it is not MY party) PVV opened the discussion about the intolerance of Islam. Before he did it is was absolutely “not done”. He sees Islam as mainly being an ideology. The Islam…according to Wilders is intolerant by definition. Intolerant towards Christians, Jews, Homosexuals, repressing women etc.
In our country we have and had some very nasty experiences with Islamic immigrants mainly from Morocco. The day (9/11) the twin towers were attacked there were many young Moroccans cheering in the streets for their “Victory”.
Also it was a complete silence from the Moroccan Community after an extremist brutally killed the writer Theo van Gogh. 60% of young male (young females are doing fine, they study) Moroccans were once arrested and convicted for crimes….and I can continue.
From his (Wilders) point of view the Dutch society was far too tolerant and ignored these problems far too long. Slowly you can hear similar opinions in almost every other party. On other issues, economy, welfare state, etc. Wilders party is moderate….and not considered to be racist at all.
And in the meantime, while fighting intolerant Islam, Wilders’ party would like to raise a bit tolerance for CEE nationals, too.
Yep….weak point of his party. Told you it is not my party. He looks for scapegoats too, not unknown in Hungary either. Just thought to make the point that he is not a racist.
Yeah, a bit of a weak point, sure. Your country seems to have some more weak points.
Like this weak point of the Dutch public TV channel:
http://translate.google.hu/translate?sl=hu&tl=en&js=n&prev=_t&hl=hu&ie=UTF-8&layout=2&eotf=1&u=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.magyarhirlap.hu%2Fvelemeny%2Ftajekoztatas_holland_modra.html
“weak point of his party”…
That’s just hilarious…
Last year a recruiter tried to talk me into a high paying job in Amsterdam. Since I was there as a tourist and I didn’t like at all what I saw, I didn’t consider the job. At least no chance for my being reported by a Dutch neighbour that I took his job.
@Leto
“That’s just hilarious…”
What is hilarious? 80% or more of the dutch people…me included are against this website.
What did you not like? Too much tolerance for your taste…..too many gays?
@Paul:
Your post was hilarious. The “weak point of his party” bit.
BTW, it’s your country where a politician was shot dead because of his views ten years ago.

The “Stockholm International Forum on Combating Intolerance”, 29 January-30 January, 2001, adopted a declaration to combat “genocide, ethnic cleansing, racism, antisemitism, Islamophobia and xenophobia, and to combat all forms of racial discrimination and intolerance related to it”
For me and those representatives from 51 countries 11 years ago, Islamophobia, is racism
What has been discussed is if it is so unique that it needs to have its own sub-group (Islamophobia) or should be incorporated into the common denominator “racism”
I think it would be a bit wrong to not call Wilders and his party for ‘Islamophobic’
One can also discuss if there are significant similarities between islamophobic discourse and European pre-nazi antisemitism as in:
Which is explicitly interesting as many of these Islamophobic parties are also very pro-Zionistic
correction : \ Now I can pass the torch to Viking who wishes he were Magyar judging by his new name, because his postings notwithstanding, etc.
Pays not to read one’s own postings and remain oblivious of spelling, grammar and other mistakes.
