Orbán assures NY rabbi Arthur Schneier of Hungarian government’s zero-tolerance policy on anti-Semintism

Prime Minister Viktor Orban held talks in his office with Arthur Schneier, the chief rabbi of New York Park East, Orban’s spokesman said on Thursday.

Orban assured Schneier that Hungary is devoted to protecting the rights of every Hungarian citizen and to ensuring they live in peace and safety, Bertalan Havasi said in a statement.

He said Orban personally represented a zero-tolerance policy towards any kind of manifestation of anti-Semitism.

nice words VO. But where is the “meat”? what actually you do ?

      What meat? Judas?

I guess you won’t be happy until every Hungarian that is free thinking in regards to Israel is locked away back in the gulags. Hungarians are smart enough not to allow Jewish racist to regain their special privileges that saw over 800,000 Hungarians thrown into camps (where the majority died between 1945 and 1956).

Jews should be lucky that Hungarians aren’t doing what blacks are doing to Afrikaners in South Africa and Zimbabwe and taking over Jewish business and property. Jews in Hungary still remain at the top when it comes to economic, political, social representation. I don’t think they deserve the special attention they’re receiving.

Never, never, ever forget the 800,000 Hungarians thrown into camps where the majority died. These too were crimes against humanity but were the criminals prosecuted???

The communist people’s tribunals did bring several Arrow Cross leaders to trial, found them guilty and had them executed. Although the charges against them did not include crimes against J*ws. In addition, Béla Imrédy was tried for war crimes including deporting J*ws to concentration camps. He was found guilty and executed.

We could of course debate the fairness and effectiveness of these people’s tribunals. Many innocent people were accused and executed by these “courts”. After my grandfather fled Hungary at the end of WWII he was accused by the tribunal of being a Nazi collaborator and burning down a pharmaceutical plant near Baja where he was the chief scientist and manager. He denied that he had anything to do with the arson that was carried out by German troops. He of course did not visit Hungary until after he was granted amnesty in 1966.

Annual financial payments to the dear rabbi will resolve all his concerns.

    @ Speechless

Not everyone has your talent for witty thoughtful postings so you should be just a little tolerant of people who are not as gifted as you

About the Rabbi – why of why is the NY Rabbi geting involved? I am sure there are enough capable Rabbis in Hungary who understand the situation better and can speak to Orban to express concerns.

@30 pieces of silver “VO[...] what actually you do ?”

Perhaps, shooting J*ws into the Danube at night?
