Hungarian Jews flee to Austria amid upsurge of Anti-Semitism

Anti-Semitism in Hungary is causing an influx of Jewish immigrants to Austria, the head of Vienna’s Jewish community reportedly said.“I am pleased people are coming but the circumstances that force them to leave Hungary due to the political situation, due to anti-Semitism, don’t please me at all,” Oskar Deutsch, president of the Vienna Jewish community, is quoted as telling the Austrian Press Agency, APA.

Hurry, the cattle wagons are leaving Budapest for Vienna! :D

    • Vidra

More perceptions that Hungary isn’t a nice place to live, work or invest (regardless of the size of the Exodus), another Fidesz speech that they’re doing everything they can to stop anti-semitism and another token holocaust denier sent down to “prove” it – another senior Jewish leader then appears on the podium with Orbán or Navracsics or whoever to “prove” the confidence of the Jewish community in Fidesz – and so the game goes on and on.

      • Paul

Good…Thanks…the only comment which matters,,,including mine.

      • Leto مؤدّب

The constant creation of perceptions (like “Hungarian Jews flee to Austria amid upsurge of Anti-Semitism”) is a ticking bomb. Israel’s demographical situation is another, related ticking bomb.

        • Vidra

I don’t think this story is being spun for domestic consumption, but I agree that playing the racism card is a dangerous game. And Israel certainly ain’t the land of milk and honey though I’m not quite sure what aspect of its demographics you’re referring to.

          • Leto مؤدّب

No, this story is being spun for international consumption. But it’s got domestic implications.

I meant that there will be more Arabs in Israel in a few decades than Jews.

          • szebbjovot

More Arabs than Jews… sounds like the future of Hungary that awaits us in the EU.

But off course, if an Arab enjoys living in Hungary, he is Hungarian, correct?

          • Leto مؤدّب

No, someone’s enjoying to live in Hungary doesn’t make them Hungarian. Immersion in the Hungarian culture and feeling for the Hungarian nation does. Glad I could help.

          • szebbjovot

An Arab is an Arab and a Hungarian is a Hungarian, glad I could have helped.

The exception are the people of the Carpathians, that is different.

          • Leto مؤدّب

Why don’t you tell this to Jobbik local councillor Adonis Kassab from Syria? ;)

          • Vidra

I don’t think a couple of hundred Hungarian Jews moving to israel would affect the balance between Jews and Palestinians there. Besides, what has this got to do with moving 200 km westwards? Hungary, Austria, Germany – it’s all Europe. Israel most definitely isn’t.

          • Leto مؤدّب

This game is being played everywhere and it’s part of that bigger, long term one.

          • Vidra

Excuse me, not all Jews are Zionists with unswerving loyalty to Israel, especially not European Jews. So this is more deflection from your side. Jews leaving Hungary for Austria has nothing to do with Fidesz unwillingness to purge its own party of racists and ensure the police and judiciary take hate crimes seriously but it’s all part of a Zionist conspiracy to subvert European values. If I’ve understood you correctly (and apologies if I’m mistaken), you truly are a rabid and pathetic silly, snobbish anti-Semite.

          • Leto مؤدّب

Sorry to see it’s taken you at least half a dozen long sentences to draw your foregone conclusion, postcommie bastard. :)

PS: Fidesz doesn’t need to purge its own party of racists at all and they do ensure the police and judiciary take real hate crimes seriously. Keep ranting. :)

  • szebbjovot

I can sleep at night just fine knowing that this is happening.

  • Paul

Ahhh the nazi twins szebbjovot and fleto…..Yep funny…..A few more of these headlines will force even the Epp to vote
    Fidesz out of the EU.

Buuuut….where to get the money than?

    • szebbjovot

Please dont confuse me with being a twin of Leto, thanks.

And what is so bad about this? Some Jews who happen to have a Hungarian passport decided to leave the country. Whats the big deal?

      • Paul

“Please dont confuse me with being a twin of Leto, thanks.”
        I will not..I promise…..sorry…(smile)

      • vladamir putin

yes and if 500000hungarians who happen to leave my country whats the big deal,

    • Leto مؤدّب

“Epp to vote Fidesz out of the EU.”

EPP, Fidesz, EU.. Is this confused state of mind going to be permanent now with you? ;)

Think big, Dutch moron! How about “mice to vote Fidesz out of the Milky Way”? ;)

      • Paul

“mice to vote Fidesz out of the Milky Way”?
Would be great! They get my support.
        L.O.L.

        • Leto مؤدّب

I’m sure these ambitious mice will appreciate your support which increases the probability of their success from 1 to ten googleplex to 1 to nine googleplex!

Nezőpont poll shows Fidesz with sizable lead over united opposition
The poll was conducted from January 22 to 25 with 1,000 eligible voters interviewed over the phone.

            L.O.L

            1000 “political correct” answers….dream on.

          • Leto مؤدّب

Nope, “political correctness” (PC talk) is a so-called “left liberal” playground where you play your stupid and boring hypocracy games.

      • Paul

“Think big, Dutch moron! How about “mice to vote Fidesz out of the Milky Way”?
Look….. I do not like you….but this comment was great.

        • Leto مؤدّب

” I do not like you”

That’s nice to hear. :) I’d worry if you did.

    • szebbjovot

      By the way Paul.

Zsidesz is allowing a new Synagogue being built on land that was given to them for free on Csepel.

Zsidesz wants to “emphasize” Holocaust education and set up a special Holocaust comitee for the 70 year anniversary.

To sum up, Fidesz is Kosher and zionism oozes out of their ass, mouths and ears.
Leto supports this without hesitation, just like all other Fidesz opinions.

  • Flyover099

Gee, I hope this someday happens in the US. We need some peace & quiet and honesty brought back into our system after 100+ years of abuse.

  • stanlee98

Wake me up when the last Jew left Hungary. The sooner the better.
What Jewish activists call “anti-semitism” is a natural self defense.
People are getting tired of their constant demands, more money and
more freedom for them, so they can do whatever they want, without any
repercussions, and silencing the opposition, even if it costs losing the right to free speech for Hungarians. An arrogant bunch those hostile Jewish organizations are.
They want more rights than the majority, without any responsibilities.
Jewish groups are like cancerous tumors, keep growing and destroying their hosts in the process. And we are required by law to love them unconditionally. It’s a sick world out there.

    • Elsbeth

stanlee98–seems you have a lot more information than I do. Can you tell me, more specifically, what the demands are from the ‘hostile Jewish organizations’?

      • stanlee98

Of course I do. Jewish groups want “reparation” money, and lots of it.
They want scholars who research the so called “holocaust” to be locked up. They want their critics silenced, they want to eliminate free speech, they always want more rights than Hungarians. I’m all for equal rights, but some minorities refuse to settle for just being Hungarian citizens, they want to be special.

        • vladamir putin

          now your president off hungary

    • vladamir putin

so lets kick out the 500000 hungarians living in england your fantastic country has so many jobs going

      • Counterpoint

Hungarians don’t act like Jews. They are happy to fit in with the locals, don’t ask for special treatment. Work and get paid. No extras.
If Jews could do the same, there would be no “anti-semitism”.

        • vladamir putin

there is less unemployment for jews in hungary than anyone else, so how many jews have you met or how many brits like me have you met

          • Counterpoint

So if you’re a Jew, living in the United Queendom, why do you call yourself Putin?

          • vladamir putin

my father was a vicor you can call me a jew if you want if i was i would be proud.

          • vladamir putin

          • Counterpoint

I didn’t invite you to Hungary. Stay in your own backward country.

          • vladamir putin

i intent to . why would anyone come to a country what is full up off hate. gdp per head uk 32000euros hungary 12500per head what a great success story you have good luck your hate is like a cancer not gays christians or hindus or jews

          • Counterpoint

It’s a miracle that Hungary still has any GDP after two lost world wars, loss of 2/3rd of its territory, 40 years of “communist” rule and 20+ years of “democracy”, one corrupt, lying, stealing government after another.
Gays, christians and jews are not helping, they all want special privileges, more money and rights than normal Hungarians, and absolute immunity, so they can do anything they want, and still protected from criticism.
They only make an already divided country even more divided. We’d be much better without them.

          • vladamir putin

i can go where i want i dont need you to invite me you have no power to change anythink . get a life enjoy yourself make a buisness help your family

          • Counterpoint

So where are you from? Obviously English your second language. How did you get to the UK, and why?
At least learn the language of your host country.
“anythink” is not even a word. Try “anything” next time.

          • vladamir putin

dyslexia its called i was born in england but i am not going to talk to you again enjoy life

          • Counterpoint

Why would you or anyone be proud of their ethnicity? You have nothing to do with that, you were born into it.
Be proud of your own achievements, and contributions to society and a better world.

          • vladamir putin

my last time i write to you . you can hate whoever you like . it matters not to me . you have nothink you do nothink you see nothink . your life is empty you only have hate as a friend . please have a test for where your forfathers came from and you will find from russia and many diffrent types who knows you may have jewish blood sadly i dont have

          • Counterpoint

I don’t care about anyone’s ancestry. You cannot pick where you’re born and raised. I was raised as a Catholic, but I managed to figure out on my own that religion is bullshit. I only judge people by their actions and attitude. You can be a completely normal Hungarian Jew, or a complete asshole Hungarian who can trace their origin back to king Stephen.
I have no issues with Jews just because they are Jews, I only hate them when they join one of their many special interest pressure groups. I don’t like orthodox Jews, dressed for Halloween all the time, and want us to respect their backward religion. I don’t like the holocaust industry and its ripoff scheme, I don’t like losing my right to free speech to protect the hyper-sensitive Jewish groups. They just love to get offended by anything, and cry “anti-semitism” through their world wide media empire, pushing important news to the side. As long as these Jewish groups want special treatment, they will always help generating “anti-semitism”. I believe that’s intentional.

          • vladamir putin

its a geat honour for you to refer the uk as queendom thanks very much for your kind coments

        • vladamir putin

      • Counterpoint

Just keep on sleeping. If you don’t like Hungarians, leave your disgusting country. Don’t come here. I can’t stand the British, except for these guys: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OeMgyzzeQZU

    • fred fathingstone

  • http://twitter.com/FoogInc a. foog

Seriously? I know that Hungary is brimming with nasty anti-semitic assholes, but isn’t fleeing to freaking AUSTRIA kinda like a gay man fleeing to Uganda?

    • Flyover099

      “nasty anti-semitic assholes”
There must be a reason why the country is brimming.
