Quotable: radio presenter of closed down market leading Class FM on current media situation in Hungary

“Hungary is falling back to the Dark Ages. The media market is narrowing down instead of more and more outlets opening up.”

Balázs Sebestyén, one of the presenters of the currently closed down Class FM’s Morning Show. The radio station terminated its operation as its frequency permit expired. The remaining four radios with nationwide frequencies are all state-owned, for the first time since 1991. []
