Democratic Coalition completes 2018 election programme, ready for cooperation

The Democratic Coalition (DK) party has prepared its programme for the 2018 general election and has started training its 106 individual candidates it plans to field, the leader of the party said. Ferenc Gyurcsány said on Facebook that his party would welcome cooperation of all democratic opposition parties in next year’s race. “We basically all agree that the Orbán government must go and a properly functioning European civil democracy should again be put in place,” the former Socialist prime minister said. Gyurcsány said that DK stands ready for cooperation at any time until the election.
