Gov’t reallocates HUF billions from budget reserves for sports funding

The government is reallocating 2.9 billion forints (EUR 9.5 million) in reserves earmarked for “extraordinary government measures” and 9.97 billion forints from EU budget contributions in this year’s budget, a resolution published in the latest issue of the official gazette Magyar Közlöny shows. Some 93.2 million forints is being reallocated to cover the operating costs of the Hungarian Football Association (MLSZ), 59 million forints is assigned for realising sports development concepts and 12.72 billion forints is going towards managing and developing sports facilities.
